What Studio Rental & Production Facility covers
Our production facility in Malibagh, available to book with or without a crew. It is the room our own film unit works in, which is the most useful thing we can say about it.
What is actually in it
A lighting grid rather than stands, so the setup time on an interview day is minutes. Backdrops and a cyclorama wall. A sound treated area, which matters more than the camera for interviews and voice work.
There is an edit suite on site with a calibrated monitor, so a rush review can happen the same day rather than after an upload.
Crewed or self operated
Book the room and bring your own team, or book it with ours. If you want a DOP, a sound recordist and a lighting technician, we quote that separately and you know who is turning up.
Camera and audio hire
Bodies, lenses, audio and grip available on the same booking. If you need something we do not have, we will tell you rather than substitute.
The unglamorous advantages
Ground level load in with no lift, and parking. In Dhaka those two things determine whether a shoot day starts on time, and most listings do not mention either.
Booking
Half day or full day, and we will tell you honestly whether your shot list fits the time you are booking. A half day that needs six hours of setup is a full day, and we would rather say that at the booking than at four in the afternoon.
