What we collect, which is very little.
No analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies for visitors. The only thing this website collects is what you type into the contact form, and this page says exactly what happens to it and how to have it deleted.

The short version
This website collects almost nothing. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no chat widget and no cookie at all unless you are a member of our staff signing in to manage the site. The only information we hold from this website is what you type into the contact form, and you can have it deleted by asking.
What you send us through the form
If you fill in the project brief, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number, the kind of work you are asking about and whatever you write in the message. We use it to reply to you and to quote for the work. Nothing else.
We also record the network address the form was sent from, and which browser sent it. That is there to recognise a flood of automated junk, which is the only way a public form on the internet stays usable, and it is not used to build any sort of profile of you.
Your enquiry is stored in our own database, on our own server, and is deleted automatically two years after you send it. If you would like it removed before then, email hello@dotmeet.agency and we will delete it and confirm that we have.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your details to anybody. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us to quote for something. We do not run advertising technology on this site, so nothing here follows you to another website.
Cookies
Browsing this website sets no cookies. There is nothing to accept and no banner to dismiss, which is the honest reason you have not been shown one.
Members of our own team who sign in to manage the site do get one cookie. It holds a random session identifier and nothing else, and it exists so the panel knows who is signed in.
Other companies involved
Google Maps. The contact page shows a map of our office, and that map comes from Google. Loading it means your browser contacts Google directly, and Google may set its own cookies as a result. That is the one third-party thing on this site. If you would rather not load it, the written address and directions link are on the same page.
Our hosting. The site and its database run on servers we rent. Whoever provides that hosting can technically reach the data, as with any hosted service, and is not permitted to use it.
Photographs on the site. Images may be served from an image host rather than from our own server. That involves no information about you beyond the ordinary request your browser makes for a picture.
Typefaces are downloaded when the site is built and served from our own domain, so reading this page does not contact a font provider.
Photography at events we produce
This is separate from the website, and worth stating because it is the question we are actually asked. When we photograph or film an event, the client commissioning it decides how those images are used, and we hold copies for our own portfolio only where the client has agreed. If you appear in an image on this site and would like it removed, email hello@dotmeet.agency and we will take it down while we discuss it, not after.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@dotmeet.agency and a person will answer. We do not require a particular form of words and there is no charge.

Changes to this page
If we start doing something new with information from this website, this page changes before that happens rather than afterwards, and the date at the top changes with it.
