Senior Producer, Events
Own conferences and dealer meets end to end, from the costed scope to standing on the floor while it runs.
The full posting
You will own corporate events from the first client meeting to the handover file, which means you write the scope, you cost it, you run the rehearsal and you are on the floor while it happens. Nobody hands your event to a different team on the day.
Reporting to the Head of Production. You will have a project coordinator and draw on the in-house AV crew, design studio and film unit as your show needs them.
What you will actually be doing
- Turning a client brief into a written scope with dates and a costed line against every item, and defending it in a procurement meeting
- Building and holding the production schedule, and being the person who says no when a change arrives too late to be safe
- Running technical rehearsals, including the parts nobody enjoys: cue to cue, microphone checks with actual speakers, and power failover tests
- Being the named number the client calls at four in the afternoon
- Writing the handover: what happened, what it cost, what to do differently
Your first ninety days
In your first month you will shadow two live shows and take over the schedule for a third. By month two you own a mid sized event outright. By month three you are writing scopes that go to clients without being rewritten.
What we are looking for
Five or more years producing corporate events at 300 delegates and up, in Bangladesh or a comparable market. You have personally run a show with a live stream and a rehearsal day, and you can talk about a time something failed and what you changed afterwards.
You should be able to read an AV quotation and know what is missing from it.
What we are not looking for
We are not looking for someone who has only managed vendors. This is a job where you need to know what a scaler does, why a generator on standby is not redundancy, and how long a truss takes to go up.
The offer
BDT 90,000 to 1,40,000 a month depending on what you have run, plus event allowances. Six day working week, Saturday to Thursday, with time back after event weekends.
To apply, send us your CV and a short note on one event you produced: what the budget was, what went wrong, and what you did about it. That note matters more to us than the CV.
Questions before you apply?
Ask them before writing an application. We would rather answer a question about the role than read a cover letter that was guessing.
Or call +880-1711-045500. Replied within one working day.
