Production Intern

Six months on the production team, learning live events from the floor rather than from a desk. You will be on load ins, in rehearsals and on site during shows, and you will do the unglamorous parts of that properly.

This is a real training position with a real chance of a full time offer at the end. Three of our current producers started here.

What you will actually be doing

• Load in and load out: cable runs, staging, checking gear against the list
• Sitting in on rehearsals and keeping the running order document current
• Delegate registration and on site coordination during events
• Chasing the small things that sink shows: batteries, spare cables, the speaker who has not arrived
• Writing up what happened after each event

What you will learn

By the end you will know how a truss goes up, why the sound desk feeds the stream, what a run of show document has to contain, and how a 500 delegate conference is sequenced. That is a genuinely marketable set of skills in this market.

What we are looking for

No experience required and no specific degree. We need someone who is available six days a week for the full six months including event weekends, who is physically able to be on a load in, and who turns up when they said they would.

The offer

BDT 15,000 a month, six months, with event allowances and food on show days. Reviewed at month five for a full time role.
