Graphic Designer, Brand and Print
Identity systems, print collateral and event graphics, in English and Bangla, built as templates other people can use.
The full posting
You will design identity systems, print collateral and large format event graphics, and you will build them as templates other people can use without breaking them. A lot of our design work exists to be handed to a client's own team or to a print vendor, so a file that only works when you are in the room is not finished.
Reporting to the Design Lead. You will work alongside two designers, a motion designer and the production team.
What you will actually be doing
- Identity work: marks, type systems, colour, and the guideline document that goes with them
- Print collateral through to production: annual reports, folders, packaging dielines, stationery, and the press check
- Event graphics at scale: stage backdrops, LED content sizing, signage, standees, and the specification a vendor can follow
- Building the template sets, decks, social placements, print artwork, that stop the brand drifting the moment we hand it over
- Bangla and English typesetting, including headlines that carry both
Your first ninety days
You will start on collateral and event graphics so you learn our production standards and our print vendors. By month two you will own the design on a smaller identity project. By month three you are presenting work to clients.
What we are looking for
Two or more years on identity or print work, with a portfolio of things that were actually produced, not concepts. We will ask about the production: what stock, what finish, what went wrong at the printer.
Real print production knowledge. Bleed, CMYK against Pantone, and the experience of a job coming back the wrong colour and knowing why.
Bangla typesetting is not optional. Most of our work runs in both scripts.
The offer
BDT 40,000 to 65,000 a month. Six day working week, Saturday to Thursday.
To apply, send a portfolio with at least two produced print pieces, and tell us what you would change about one of them.
Questions before you apply?
Ask them before writing an application. We would rather answer a question about the role than read a cover letter that was guessing.
Or call +880-1711-045500. Replied within one working day.
